Ramon Marrero

Ramon Marrero is a veteran, former law enforcement, former small-business owner, and family- and faith-oriented leader, known as a dedicated community leader with more than 40 years of experience serving families, businesses, and neighborhoods.  A proud Palm Coast resident, he has built his career on hard work, integrity, and a commitment to helping others succeed.

Ramon honorably served in the U.S. Army and National Guard, including assignments in Alabama, Germany, Panama, and Puerto Rico.  His work in security, logistics, power generation, and drug prevention training earned him the U.S. Army Commendation Medal for exceptional performance and dedication to duty.

After his military service, Ramon built a successful career in mortgage finance and business management.  In leadership roles with Doral Financial, he managed branch operations, led teams of up to 30 employees, conducted audits, and helped open new offices.  As a Home Mortgage Consultant with Wells Fargo, he worked closely with homebuyers, Realtors, and builders to help families achieve homeownership and navigate financial challenges.

As the former owner of MOTANO Productions, LLC. in Palm Coast, Ramon understands what it takes to build and grow a business from the ground up.  Through strong relationships and a commitment to service, he expanded his company across multiple counties in Florida.

Ramon is also committed to education and community involvement.  He has served as a substitute teacher in neighboring school districts, supporting students in safe and structured learning environments. Presently he is an instructor of conversational spanish for adults at Flagler Technical College.  He has been actively involved in civic organizations, including serving as the President and founder of the Hispanic American Cultural Society in Palm Coast and as a Fourth-Degree member of the Knights of Columbus.  He also served on the most recent City of Palm Coast Charter Review Committee. 

A bilingual English and Spanish speaker with a bachelor’s degree in business administration, Ramon brings a lifetime of leadership, service, and real-world experience.  He is focused on strengthening neighborhoods by fostering growth through equitable investments in city infrastructure, supporting local businesses, honoring veterans, and ensuring that government works for the people.

Ramon Marrero is deeply committed to the Palm Coast community and has consistently dedicated his time to civic and nonprofit involvement.

He has served as President of the Hispanic American Cultural Society in Palm Coast and is an active member of the 4th Degree Knights of Columbus. Through these roles, he has helped organize events, support local initiatives, and strengthen community connections.

Ramon has also served as a substitute teacher in neighboring counties, supporting students and contributing to a positive learning environment. His involvement reflects a genuine commitment to giving back and making a lasting impact in the community.
